SHAFAQNA- Mohammad Al-Hassan UN’s Secretary-General’s Special Representative in Iraq, praised Iraq’s stance on the ongoing regional crises and its distance from them.
According to Shafaqna, quoting Al-Furat, Al-Hassan said: “The Iraqi government’s engagement with the regional crises has been very successful.”
He added: “The Iraqi government has kept many of the disputes and conflicts away from Iraq, and Baghdad and Erbil have calmly and professionally dealt with regional challenges, protecting the country from any negative effects.”
Al-Hassan also stated: “Iraqi officials and decision-makers have made rational decisions, keeping the country away from many problems.
