Shafaqna English– Some 4.8 million people remain displaced across Yemen, amid worsening shelter shortages and increasing risk of eviction, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) reported.
In a statement on X, the UN’s refugee agency warned that “safe shelter is out of reach” for many families, underscoring the urgent need for humanitarian assistance to address the growing vulnerability of displaced populations.
Humanitarian organizations continue to express concern over critical funding gaps undermining relief operations. These challenges are further compounded by widespread food insecurity, limited access to clean water, and recurring disease outbreaks.
