Pakistan To Boost Halal Meat Exports To Malaysia

Shafaqna English- Pakistan is seeking to enhance its Halal meat exports to Malaysia under a new bilateral agreement, potentially generating $200 million annually. This initiative includes Malaysia importing 100,000 tonnes of Halal meat and rice from Pakistan, according to MSN.

A new Malaysian trade office in Karachi will streamline trade and logistics. The move supports Pakistan’s goal of expanding its share in the global Halal market, though experts note that infrastructure upgrades and international certification will be essential to meeting quality and safety standards.
