UN: Over 4 million refugees fled Sudan since start of war

Shafaqna English– The number of people fleeing Sudan since the war began has surpassed 4 million, Spokesperson for the UN’s refugee agency reported on Tuesday (03 June 2025).

UNHCR’s Spokesperson Eujin Byun told a Geneva press briefing that the milestone was reached on Monday and that the scale of displacement was “putting regional and global stability at stake.”
