In Ayah 19 of Surah Al-Hashr, Allah (SWT) revealed: “And be you not like those who forgot Allah (SWT); and God made them forget their own souls! Such are the rebellious transgressors!”
As the above Ayah warns’ one of the Divine Punishments in Islam is that God shapes some human beings into a form that they forget themselves (because they forget God) [1]. Those who pay attention to God and their destination is Divine Destination, are saved from all kinds of darkness, including material darkness as well as spiritual darkness and they immerse in the sea of light [2].
