Can a person leave all his wealth to the step child and not the other inheritors? The Grand Ayatollah Shobairi’s answer

SHAFAQNA – The Grand Ayatollah Shobairi Zanjani answered a question about a person leaving his wealth only to the step child and not to the other inheritors.

Question: If a person has a step child and leaves all the wealth to the step child in the will and not the other inheritors, is such a will valid and must be carried out?

The Grand Ayatollah Shobairi: The will is valid for one third (of the wealth) and more than one third depend on the permissions of the inheritors.
