Shafaqna English- Iran celebrates back-to-back victories at the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics, according to Mehr News Agency.
A ceremony was held on Sunday (07 Sep 2025) at the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to recognize Iranian students who won medals at the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA).
The event was attended by Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Ahmad Donya Mali and Vice President for Social Affairs Ali Rabiei, who praised the students’ achievements.
Iran recently secured “first place in the IOAA for the second consecutive year”, reinforcing its position as a global leader in the competition.
