Gaza: Orphans in camps turn to the Quran amid Israeli attacks

Shafaqna English- Amid the ongoing genocidal war in Gaza, displaced Palestinian children are finding solace in memorizing the Quran inside refugee camps.

One such child is Saji Ayash who lost her father in Israeli bombardment during the early months of the war. From her refugee camp, she joined a program at Al-Baraka Camp in southern Gaza, dedicated to supporting 500 orphaned boys and girls, Rudaw Net reported.

Saji, already a Quran memorizer, expressed her pride: “We are the children of martyrs. Our fathers worked hard so that we would memorize the Quran, to make them proud and to crown them with the crown of honor on the Day of Judgment.”
