Shafaqna English- Tens of thousands of Palestinians performed Friday Prayer at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyards amid heavy Israeli restrictions imposed on Palestinian worshipers’ access to the holy site.
Local sources reported that worshipers coming from Occupied Jerusalem, the occupied West Bank, and Palestinian towns inside the 1948 occupied territories performed the Friday Prayer.
Local sources reported that the Israeli police forces obstructed residents’ access to the Al-Aqsa Mosque through Bab-al-Asbat, Bab-al-Sahira, and Bab-al-Amoud by installing iron barriers.
The Israeli forces were also deployed at the Friday Market, tightening the security measures, arresting young men, and checking their ID cards.
