Shafaqna English- The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that amid ongoing security chaos and sectarian violence in Syria, the Seyyedah Zainab (SA) area, located south of Damascus, witnessed gatherings in which groups chanted sectarian and offensive slogans, issuing threats against followers of Ahlul-Bayt (AS) in the country.
According to Shafaqna, citing the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, security and sectarian tensions escalated around the Seyyedah Zainab (SA) District in the suburbs of Damascus early Saturday morning (11 Oct 2025), following the movement of groups of young men from the neighborhoods of Al-Bahdaliyah and Al-Dhiabiyah toward Al-Fatimiyah Street in the center of the district.
