Shafaqna English- The Matta Muslim-Friendly Travel Fair 2025 aims to establish Malaysia as a global leader in Muslim-friendly tourism.
With a significant projection that 245 million Muslims will travel the world and spend approximately $235 billion by 2030, Malaysia is making substantial strides in this growing market. Nur Alyssa Coraline Yussin, Acting Director-General of the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry’s Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC), emphasized that although the fair is Muslim-friendly, it is not exclusively for Muslim travellers. This aligns with the broader aim of making Malaysia a welcoming destination for people of all backgrounds.
