Shafaqna English- More than 11.7 million pilgrims performed Umrah during the Month of Rabi Al-Thani.
According to the statistical data released by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in cooperation with the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s (PBUH) Mosque, this record number reflects a growing trend supported by the enhanced services and facilities provided to worshippers.
The statistics indicate that more than 1.5 million Umrah pilgrims arrived from abroad, representing countries from around the globe. This underscores the positive impact of digital tools and integrated logistical services, which have made it easier for Umrah pilgrims to travel and perform their rituals with comfort and peace of mind.
This increase in the number of Umrah pilgrims is part of the Saudi’s ongoing efforts to enhance the Hajj, Umrah, and visit ecosystem in line with the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030.
