Shafaqna English- The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that more than 900 patients in the Gaza Strip have died as a result of delays in being transferred abroad for urgent medical treatment.
According to the Palestinian news agency “Shehab”, the organization also reported that approximately 16,500 patients including 4,000 children in need of immediate care are still awaiting approval to leave Gaza for treatment. WHO warned that any further delay in evacuating critically ill patients is effectively “a death sentence” for them.
