Shafaqna English– A member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom believes that if the truth were made clear to all Muslims, not even one person would remain opposed, and everyone would become a supporter of Lady Fatimah (SA). Some governments, in order to legitimize their own actions, create a foggy and confusing atmosphere so that the truth does not reach the people; but when people study and discover the realities, their thinking changes.
Ayatollah Najm Ad-Din Tabbasi in an interview with Shafaqna offered his condolences on the approaching days of mourning for the martyrdom of Lady Fatimah Zahra (SA). He stated: According to the criterion that the Messenger of God (PBUH) has defined for us, the measure of God’s satisfaction or anger with us and our actions is Lady Fatimah (SA): “Allah (SWT) is pleased with her pleasure and becomes angered at her anger.”
He described Lady Fatimah (SA) as a great university in which various sciences are contained and he continued: When I read Sahifah Fatimah (SA) I found it astonishing and remarkable in two ways. The first: her spiritual state and connection with God, and the fact that every moment of her life was spent in worship and communion with God. The second: the manner of her etiquette and way of speaking with God.
Referring to the lifestyle and conduct of Lady Fatimah (SA), he said: Today, our society suffers from the disintegration of families; the reason is that we have not become properly familiar with the lifestyle of Lady Fatimah (SA). For three days there was no food in her house. When Imam Ali (AS) learned of this, he said to Lady Fatimah (SA): “Why didn’t you tell me anything?” She replied: “My father told me: ‘Do not ask your husband for anything and do not place him under hardship.’”
Ayatollah Tabbasi mentioned another example of Lady Fatimah’s conduct and said: Near the end of her blessed life, she addressed Imam Ali (AS) saying: “In these nine years, not once have I disobeyed your command. I neither lied to you nor did I commit any act of disloyalty.”
Are our lives today based on this standard? Why have family disputes increased so much? It is necessary to explain this conduct and lifestyle of Lady Fatimah (SA) to every boy and girl who intends to marry.
