Shafaqna English–The European Union is introducing a service designed to evaluate how climate change influences extreme weather phenomena such as heatwaves and heavy rainfall. Experts believe this initiative could assist governments in formulating climate policies, enhance evaluations of financial risks, and supply supporting evidence for legal cases.
According to scientists from the EU’s Copernicus Climate Change Service, this service can aid governments in assessing the physical dangers associated with increasing severe weather and in establishing responses accordingly.
