Shafaqna English- Mosul’s re-construction initiative will be implemented across five major stages and the first phase alone includes the rehabilitation of 1,800 meters of key urban pathways, Iraqi Prime Ministerial Advisor Al-Mufti announced.
Speaking to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Al-Mufti said the first phase launched by Prime Minister Al-Sudani focuses on reviving Mosul’s cultural and architectural heritage. It includes the rehabilitation of Al-Farouq Street, which extends 1,800 meters and connects several key districts of the city, passing notable landmarks such as the Clock Church and the Al-Nuri Mosque.
