Shafaqna English- A Christian family after months of illness and hardship, traveled to Karbala seeking help from the Imam Hussain’s (AS) Holy Shrine. Their request was met with swift and humane response leading to the start of free medical treatment for their 85-year-old mother at the “Warith International Center for Tumor Treatment.”
According to Shafaqna, citing Non News Agency, the family originally from Mosul had been forced to seek refuge in churches after being unable to afford rent. Their suffering worsened when the elderly mother fell severely ill, and doctors later discovered a malignant stomach tumor causing a complete blockage.
The patient’s daughter said that despite numerous visits to hospitals in Baghdad, no treatment option was available. It was then that an acquaintance advised them to seek help from the Imam Hussain’s (AS) Holy Shrine. After the medical file was transferred to Dr Haider Hamza Al-Abadi, Head of the Shrine’s Health and Medical Education Authority, the institution immediately approved and initiated the woman’s full, free treatment.
