Shafaqna English- Iraqi Meteorological Authority issued its latest weather report on Saturday (06 Dec 2025) indicating several days of unstable weather, heavy rainfall and the possibility of flooding across many regions of the country.
According to the authority, Sunday’s weather will be cloudy nationwide with moderate rainfall beginning in the western parts of the central and northern regions. The rain is expected to pause intermittently before expanding to the remaining areas by night.
Thunderstorms may occur in several locations, while south-eastern winds will be light to moderate, occasionally strengthening to 30–40 km/h. Temperatures will remain generally stable, and horizontal visibility will range between 6–8 km, decreasing to 3–5 km during rainfall.
