Gaza: Holy Family Church Marks Christmas

Shafaqna English- After more than two years of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, Christians in the region are trying to revive the joy of the festive season.

Palestinian Christians celebrated Christmas Mass at the Holy Family Church in Gaza City on Wednesday evening (24 Dec 2025), where congregants lit the church’s tree for the first time in two years.

Ahead of the service, attendees sought to bring the joy of Christmas to the church by decorating the tree and setting up a grotto.
