Kabul traffic chaos deepens

Shafaqna English- As evening approaches, Kabul becomes more crowded rather than calmer. Road closures, street repairs, lack of city buses and the rising number of handcarts along roadsides have made commuting difficult and frustrating for many residents.

Abdul Saboor a Kabul resident said: “People are facing serious transportation problems. In the evenings, it is very crowded and there are too few vehicles. People wait for hours, and most can not afford a private taxi.”
