Shafaqna English- Thousands of Palestinians performed the final Friday prayer of Shaaban at the Al-Aqsa Mosque despite strict Israeli military restrictions imposed on access to the compound.
Israeli occupation police forces imposed tight measures from early morning, restricting worshippers’ access through military checkpoints surrounding Jerusalem. Metal barricades were also installed around the Old City and at the gates of the Mosque’s compound.
