Shafaqna English- The Iraqi Ministry of Communications has included a commemorative postage stamp in its 2026 stamp plan to mark the 1000th anniversary of the establishment of the Najaf Ashraf Hawza.
Ridwan Al-Salami, the technical assistant to the head of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at Al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine and a member of the technical committee for the Alifia of Najaf Al-Ashraf Hawza project, stated, “The stamp was designed by the staff at the Al-Joud Design Center, which is affiliated with our department. It is part of the visual identity launched by the holy shrine and will be printed and distributed by the General Company for Post and Savings.”
