WFP: Humanitarian crisis worsening amid escalating insecurity in Afghanistan

Shafaqna English- The World Food Program (WFP) has warned that Afghanistan is facing a deepening humanitarian crisis as insecurity escalates along its eastern, southern, and western borders.

WFP Afghanistan Representative and Country Director John Aylieff said renewed fighting along the disputed Durand Line border with Pakistan and ongoing violence in Iran are adding to years of conflict, economic collapse, and natural disasters.
