Demand for halal food increases in Japan during Ramadan

Shafaqna English- As the number of Muslim residents and visitors gradually grows in Japan, demand for halal food is increasing in the country.

One halal specialty grocery store in Ueno, an area of Tokyo known for attracting many international visitors and foreign residents. The shop carries a wide variety of halal-certified ingredients, including meat, spices, and packaged foods commonly used in Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Southeast Asian cuisine.
