Attack on Pasteur Institute of Iran “Beyond a War Crime”
The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attack on the Pasteur Institute of Iran, calling it “beyond a war crime” and an assault on the fundamental principles of humanity and civilization.
In addressing the incident, the spokesperson noted that the attack by US and Israeli forces on the Pasteur Institute of Iran—one of the oldest and most prestigious research and public health centers in Iran and the entire Middle East—was a heartbreaking, brutal, and deeply inhumane act. The institute was established in 1920 through an agreement between the Pasteur Institute of Paris and the Iranian government.
