Shafaqna English- The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) reports that US-Israeli airstrikes have damaged or destroyed over 115,000 civilian structures in Iran over the past five weeks.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the organization indicated that since the US and Israel launched their military actions against Iran last month, “115,193 civilian units, including 91,498 homes and 22,580 commercial facilities, have suffered significant damage or been completely destroyed.”
In Tehran Province alone, the IRCS stated that more than 44,000 residential buildings and business units have been targeted. At least 736 schools and educational centers have been directly impacted, either completely destroyed or severely damaged by the blast waves from the US-Israeli attacks. Additionally, more than 300 health and medical facilities have been struck, violating international laws. Among these facilities, at least 18 Red Crescent centers were affected. The attacks have resulted in the deaths of at least three relief workers and injuries to 15 others.
