Shafaqna English– For over a hundred years, coastal stations run by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography have been tracking water temperatures along California’s shoreline. This year, those stations are sending out a warning signal.
A high-pressure weather system has settled over Southern California, pushing both air and ocean temperatures beyond record levels.
