UNFPA: Over five million women and girls in Afghanistan benefited from health services

Shafaqna English- The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has reported that more than five million women and girls in Afghanistan received health and psychosocial services with UK support.

The organization reported that between 2023 and 2026, health and mental services were provided across 34 provinces of Afghanistan.

These services are being offered while women and girls in Afghanistan continue to face significant barriers to accessing healthcare.
