Shafaqna English– Faced with lackluster EV sales in the U.S., automakers and battery manufacturers are hastily retooling their battery plants to produce energy storage systems that can feed AI’s growing electricity demands. However, switching production to different battery chemistries is challenging, and the need for energy storage won’t rise quickly enough to soak up the surplus of idle EV battery factory space.
