Improvement of India’s trade deficit amid Middle East crisis

Shafaqna English– Official figures show that India’s merchandise trade deficit dropped significantly to $20.67 billion in March. This March figure is also much lower than the $27.1 billion deficit recorded in February.

The slight improvement was driven by a mix of rising exports and falling imports against the backdrop of the Middle East crisis.
