Shafaqna English– The war in the Middle East has led to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and the impact has gone beyond just oil prices.
Although the strait has been temporarily reopened during the current 10-day ceasefire, global supplies of jet fuel, fertilizers, industrial CO2, and naphtha have already been disrupted.
This could result in shortages of food and other essential goods around the world.
