Japan’s currency intervention backfires

Shafaqna English– Over the past several days, Japan’s government has allocated a minimum of $35 billion in an effort to stop the yen from depreciating further against the U.S. dollar. However, a closer look at the yen’s price chart suggests that the only thing Japan may have actually achieved is creating a negative (bearish) indicator for its own currency.
