Shafaqna English– In April, China experienced a faster increase in exports as manufacturers rushed to fulfill a surge of foreign orders. Buyers were stockpiling parts due to concerns that the conflict in Iran might drive up worldwide production costs.
According to customs data released on Saturday(9 May 2026), exports grew by 14.1% year-on-year in dollar terms, surpassing March’s 2.5% rise and exceeding economists’ forecast of 7.9%.
