Shafaqna English– Ducati announced that reigning MotoGP champion Marc Marquez had successful double surgery on Sunday(10 May 2026) in Madrid, after crashing during Saturday’s(9 May 2026) French Grand Prix sprint race.
Before the crash changed his plans, the 33-year-old intended to undergo shoulder surgery following the Catalan Grand Prix next weekend. Instead, he chose to have both surgeries performed together.
