Shafaqna English– In April, U.S. producer prices saw their sharpest rise in four years, driven by surging costs of goods and services. This marked yet another indicator that inflation is speeding up during the ongoing war with Iran.
The Labor Department reported on Wednesday(13 May 2026) that the Producer Price Index increased more than expected. This news gave President Donald Trump a political problem back home just as he arrived in Beijing for talks with China’s leader.
