Ebola outbreak, Red health alert in Africa

Shafaqna English– Following 80 deaths caused by the disease, the World Health Organization has declared the Ebola outbreak in the DRC and Uganda a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC).

According to the WHO, although the outbreak caused by the Bundibugyo virus did not reach the threshold for a pandemic emergency, there is a significant danger that it might extend into countries bordering the DRC.
