Shafaqna English- António Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, sends Eid al-Adha greetings to Muslims around the world.
Guterres wrote on X on Wednesday, May 27, that Eid al-Adha is an opportunity to strengthen feelings of empathy, compassion, and collective responsibility among people.
“At a time of conflict, division, and violence, let us all be inspired by this celebration’s spirit of solidarity, community, compassion, and empathy,” Guterres said.
