WHO chief: Conflict fuels Ebola crisis in eastern Congo

Shafaqna English- Conflict fuels the Ebola crisis in eastern Congo, and the country is worsening an Ebola outbreak, obstructing humanitarian efforts to contain the disease, World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned.

In a statement posted through the US social media company X, Tedros said the Ebola outbreak in the Ituri province is “outpacing the response” as fighting and displacement hamper access to affected communities.
