WFP: 17.4 Million Afghans to face acute food insecurity

Shafaqna English- 17.4 million Afghans will face acute food insecurity in 2026, World Food Programme (WFP) reported.

In a statement issued on Friday, June 5, the WFP said Afghanistan is facing the worst recorded surge in malnutrition. It estimates that 4.9 million mothers and children will suffer from malnutrition in 2026.
