Shafaqna English- Access to maternal healthcare services in remote areas of Afghanistan play a key role in preventing maternal and newborn deaths, the United Nations Population Fund emphasized.

In a report released on Monday, June 8, UNFPA said that healthcare workers at a Family Health House in Dara Bum District successfully managed high-risk childbirth cases and helped prevent serious complications for mothers and newborns.
