Shafaqna English– According to the presidential office on Monday(8 Jun 2026), South Korea plans to reform its election procedures after a lack of ballot papers in last week’s local elections led to widespread public anger.
While the public anger over the incident has not yet grown enough to endanger President Lee Jae Myung or his party’s majority in parliament, some protesters have accused Lee’s liberal faction of taking part in what they describe as “election fraud.”
