Shafaqna English– On Wednesday(17 Jun 2026), Qantas Airways revealed that London will be the first city served by its new ultra-long-haul direct flight. The journey from Sydney is expected to take around 20 hours and will remove the usual layover on the so-called Kangaroo Route.
During an event in Toulouse, France, CEO Vanessa Hudson confirmed that the Australian airline will begin selling tickets in February, with the actual flights set to commence in October 2027.
