Shafaqna English- The U.S. dollar stayed close to its highest level in a week during Asian trading on Wednesday(8 Jul 2026), as the U.S. and Iran exchanged new attacks, while New Zealand’s currency surged after its central bank raised interest rates and signaled further tightening ahead.
The dollar gained 0.1% to reach 162.33 yen, marking its fourth consecutive day of gains against the yen and touching its highest since July 2.
