Shafaqna English– The Portuguese playmaker, who serves as the cornerstone of United’s offensive setup, earned the Professional Footballers’ Association’s highest individual honour on Tuesday(25 Aug 2026). His record-breaking 21 assists during the 2025–26 Premiership campaign were instrumental in securing the accolade.
The United skipper, who has been with the Red Devils since 2020, not only orchestrated play but also contributed nine goals of his own, playing a pivotal role in guiding the team to a third-place finish in England’s top division.
