Shafaqna English- Iran’s ambassador and deputy permanent representative to the United Nations, Gholamhossein Darzi, has strongly slammed a deadly US strike on a home in Hormozgan during a wedding, calling it a war crime.
In a letter on September 2, 2026, to UN Secretary‑General António Guterres and the president of the Security Council, Darzi condemned the recent US attacks, including the strike on a residential home in Hormozgan Province where a wedding ceremony was underway.
