Shafaqna English– Carlos Queiroz has made a swift return to the Ghana coaching role, having been reappointed on Wednesday for an undisclosed term. His comeback occurs only two months after he stepped down, a move he made shortly after Ghana’s World Cup campaign came to an end.
Queiroz, a highly experienced manager who has previously led the national teams of Iran, Portugal, Colombia, and Egypt, guided Ghana’s Black Stars to the knockout stage of the World Cup—specifically the Round of 32—despite being afforded only a short preparation period of a few months prior to the tournament.
