More Than 1,000 Schools Attacked Worldwide in 2025, UNICEF Says
Shafaqna English- Over 1,600 schools were attacked worldwide in 2025, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) announced.
The organization said on Wednesday, September 9, on X that attacks on schools constitute a violation of children’s rights, safety, and future.
UNICEF stressed that governments and all parties involved in conflicts must protect schools, students, teachers, and education personnel from attacks and military use.
