WHO calls for safe healthcare in Afghanistan

Shafaqna English-  Safe healthcare is essential for patients in Afghanistan, the World Health Organization (WHO) wrote on its X page on Thursday.

The organization said protecting patients from preventable harm and ensuring safe healthcare is a shared responsibility in Afghanistan.

The WHO added that patient safety is a fundamental component of quality healthcare and that efforts should be made to provide patients with safe and effective treatment services.
