Shafaqna English- Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem warned that surrendering to the Israeli regime would end coexistence in Lebanon, emphasizing that the group would continue to resist and would not give up any part of the country.
Speaking in a televised address marking the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Hezbollah leaders Seyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyed Hashem Safieddine, Qassem said Palestine would remain the group’s “compass” and that efforts to liberate its land would continue.
“We confronted the enemy in several areas and, as resistance forces and a resistance movement, stood our ground as far as battlefield conditions and the methods of resistance allowed,” he added.
He warned that surrender to the Israeli enemy would mean “the end of coexistence in Lebanon” and would ultimately benefit Israeli settlements.
Hezbollah Secretary-General stressed that “this country belongs to all of us, and we must remain united and not give up a single inch of its 10,452 square kilometers”.
“If some want to surrender, we do not and will not accept it,” Qassem stressed.
