Shafaqna English– The Canada oil pipeline approval process is moving faster. Prime Minister Mark Carney said on Thursday that Canada will speed up approvals for a new proposed crude oil export pipeline. The pipeline would run to Canada’s west coast.
It could generate more than C$20 billion, or about $14 billion, in GDP each year. The Canada oil pipeline approval decision is a major step for the project.
First announced in July, the pipeline is central to Carney’s plan. He wants to diversify Canada’s economy away from the US. Another goal is to reduce the impact of tariffs imposed by Donald Trump.
